Today after I got home at like 7:00pm, I was like “I should do my other entry for the Epic Contest, since it ends tomorrow!” I like this one much much better than the Buffy one. I feel like I edited it much better and put a lot more effort into it.
American Beauty is probably my favourite movie, and if I haven’t seen it, I really urge you to.
Now, this isn’t like most entries. The scene I chose is basically just a voice over, so it wasn’t like there were people talking to eachother. Personally, I like it better this way. I decided to add a little forshadowing in the beginning for the fun of it, so I hope you like that too.
This literally took like, 2 hours to render. I’m not even joking. =O Luckily, I didn’t have to sit around and wait for it because I decided to go out. XD
ALRIGHT! So, not too sure if anyone has seen this movie. If you haven’t, but some clips look familiar, it’s most likely because I used this movie in my intro before! 
Like I said above, if you haven’t seen this, please do so. Kevin Spacey is the FREAKING MAN.

Inspired by music like hip-hop, trip hop, funk, soul and even pop music, Planet55 is creating the sound of the coming century, shaking up all genres, mixing electronical with acoustic sound, and coming up with interstellar trip-pop.
The members started to play together with a band called Jazzszerü in 2007. One year later they found Flora, a new voice and inspiration that gave a new flow to the band, and a new name, Planet 55. They released their first record „Smokesigns in 2008 that is free for everyone to download on http://www.kommuna.org/zene/p55/albumok.html.
Within a couple of weeks their hit single „Nowadays became so popular that main Hungarian music radiostation MR2 reached out to it and added the song to their top selection CD of new Hungarian music in 2009. No surprise, relevant figures of Hungarian music scene declared Planet 55 being one of the best newcomer Hungarian live-bands.
Planet 55 is an earthlike planet that is habiting the 55th solarsystem of the Cancri constellation. From that perspective it is more interesting to watch the beauty of life on Earth.
The songs are about life, about past and future, about love and pain, about all that is moving all of us, but also moving the world, like all enviromental and social questions on planet Earth.

Since this music plays only in several different scenes (a few of which are short) in the original game, I decided to show every scene that this music plays in. The Super Smash Bros. Brawl piece begins at 4:20, where I note how it varies slightly from the original. I then discuss the track name at 6:34.
This is a pretty interesting music piece. However, I feel that it’s kind of an odd choice for the Castle Siege stage, considering the context in which this originally played. That is, it’s the theme of a fat, egotistical enemy that’s obsessed with beauty not to mention the theme only plays briefly in the game. I suppose the Smash Bros. Brawl sound team was more concerned with the interesting composition of the piece rather than the context in which it played.
Unfortunately though, one would need the experience of playing through Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance to understand the storyline behind these cutscenes. So, I’ll do my best to explain for those of you that have not played the game.
In this Fire Emblem universe, there are the laguz that live on the same continent as the humans. Laguz are shape-shifting humanoids. There are different species of laguz, such as Tiger, Hawk, Dragon, Heron, etc. They are capable of shifting into their respective species, such as a tiger. Laguz can also stay in human-like form but exhibit some type of feature that shows they are laguz, such as wings coming out of the back.
Some racial tensions exist between the humans and the laguz. In the past, some humans kept laguz as slaves and even refer to laguz as “sub-human.” Many laguz still have hatred of humans because of this slavery. At the time of the game’s storyline, many humans had stopped forcing laguz into slavery, but a few still remain.
On top of this, humans from the Begnion nation had killed many laguz herons and burned their forest home to the point that Reyson was supposedly the only laguz heron left in existence. Reyson still carries much hatred of humans because of the genocide of his people.
However, Reyson’s friend Naesala, a raven laguz, stabbed him in the back and set it up so that he was captured by Oliver. Oliver, knowing that Reyson is the only laguz heron left, is so obsessed with beauty that he still wants to forcibly keep Reyson to himself.
Hopefully the cutscenes will fill in some more details.
Hope this makes the video a little bit more enjoyable for those of you that have not played Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
