This is most certainly the best ‘Me’ on youtube. Your voice is beautiful, even if you were sick, and Gaston was just marvelous. he hit every note perfectly, and his actor is superb.

This is kinda off topic, but if Belle is wearing a wig, then it is one of the best wigs I’ve seen on youtube, partly because it’s not elaborate trying to copy the disney movie hair. But if it is your real hair…then I like it.

I believe the …
I believe the reason you think it’s lower is because many guys and the guy on the CD have a thicker tone and they push on the voice to make it seem lower than it is. It’s all about the way they sing it. I now enough about voice to tell you that is probably why you thought it was lower. If you need an example here’s one:Never gonna give you up..it seems low b/c the way he is singing. the song is meant for a tenor..its high. So, yeah. BTW, this song isnt in the movie. I hope that cleared things up

Yeah, Jorzaa is the …
Yeah, Jorzaa is the utterly, utterly incorrect one here. There’s a key change in the middle of the song from E Maj to F Maj, so they might be referring to that, but mostly the difference is in tempo. However, this song isn’t in the movie, so the number of times one has viewed the Disney movie is irrelevant. It’s more likely that other productions with videos on youtube transposed their songs to ranges that best fit their Gastons.
Anyway, good video! I’m researching for an audition so thanks!

If you are talking …
If you are talking about the music in relation to the movie, then yes. ALL of the keys are changed. Belle has been raised from a low alto to a mezzo-soprano, and I’m sure Gaston’s were raised as well to make them more palatable to musical theatre. If you’ve done a production where all the keys were the same as the movie then you were in a production where the keys were changed from the original broadway score. I’ve seen the broadway version multiple times and, yes, this is the same key.

i think your wrong, i’ve done enough productions and seen this movie enough times to know wrong from right in terms of this show. you have been in it? well me too, in a professional style. this is not done correctly. go over the entire show. type beauty and the beast broadway into the youtube search, discover you are utterly, utterly incorrect.
