Try reading " How to win friends and influence people" or "the secret." the 1st ones kindof dated but its still good. ive never read the secret but i heard it was good. those will help but just make sure you dont think too much about what to say, and just try to relax and be yourself. The more comfortable you are the other people will be able to tell, and then they will feel more comfortable and relaxed around you. the best way to practice is to get out there are talk to people! try going beyond your comfort zone, because you prbably wont see those people ever again, and talk to as many people as you can! try to have fun with it!

I don’t think anything positive really comes from beauty pageants, unless your the winner that is. It encourages competitiveness and jealously and idealization of what your body should be.

I agree with Dark Eyes, parents who put children through that are idiots, and often only do it because it was their dream. And they look so fake, a child wearing all of that makeup is just wrong.
